Room #1

On the main floor, secluded behind a screen of tropical foliage is a lovely, spacious room with
  • desk and reading lamp
  • sitting area with marble topped cocktail table
  • warm earth tone of carpet repeated in the hand-loomed bedspread
  • tiled bath, twin basins, 2 showers and a tub


Room #2

Second floor room with a "picture window" view of shrubs, flowers and cactus of main patio.
  • Huge walk-in closet and chest of drawers
  • "Tonela" handcrafted lamp base on desk with matching lamp between the beds
  • Original oil paintings in various tones of blue and sunny yellows set the color scheme


Room #5

This main floor room beside a wall fountain in a quiet corner of our back court
  • one double bed and one single bed.
  • Sunny yellows in paintings and on the hand painted chest and closet doors add a bright touch.
  • Raised half-round fireplace is picturesque as well as useful. There is also a gas heater
  • Yellow tiled bath has a tub and shower

Second floor two room suite reached by a wrought iron spiral stair, beside a jacaranda tree
  • A sitting area has a desk and lamp
  • Two leather "Equipale" chairs flank a lamp table
  • Chest of three drawers between the beds
  • Tub and shower in the bath

  • Picture window facing west flanked by comfortable chairs and a low cocktail table for enjoying the sunset
  • Corner fireplace beside a writing desk
  • Big antique chest of drawers
  • Hand painted tiles in bath, tub and shower

The "Top O' the Spiral" is a special spacious third floor room
  • Magnificent view - worth the climb
  • Private terrace
  • West and south windows
  • Corner fireplace and a gas heater 
  • Bath with a view through west windows

Room #7
A bright, sunny, single room on the second floor
  • Happy color scheme of black and white with touches of red in the hand-woven bedspread of red and white wool
  • Charming "L" shaped room
  • Around the corner from the entrance with desk is the bed with a brass bedstead and a hanging brass reading lamp
  • The white tiled bath has a tub and shower


Room #23

A spacious sunny single room on the mezzanine level, is up just six steps from the back court
  • Ample closet with both hanging space and shelves
  • Beautiful antique vanity-dresser with a big mirror and lots of drawers
  • A round leather-topped table with matching "equipale" leather chair and lamp for reading

We accept personal U.S. Checks as a deposit if made out to "Ruth Hyba"

Special Rates

A 15% reduction calculated on Winter rates) is given in April, May, Oct, and Nov, for a month's reservation.10% reduction for 2-3 weeks.

FIVE (5) WEEKS NOTICE - 1/2 WILL BE REFUNDED
LESS THAN FIVE (5) WEEKS - 1/4 RETURNED.
LESS THAN 2 WEEKS - DEPOSIT IS NOT REFUNDABLE.
* IF YOU HAVE RESERVED FOR A MONTH OR LONGER, WE REQUIRE THAT YOU PAY EACH MONTH AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH MONTH.
* IN THE CASE WHERE A MONTHLY CONTRACT IS BROKEN ONE WEEK'S RENT WILL BE REQUIRED.
